National Committees

Perinatal Services BC sits on a number of national committees.


 
The Breastfeeding Committee for Canada is a registered not for profit organization dedicated to the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding as the normal method of infant feeding and the implementation of the Baby-Friendly Initiative in Canada. 

Perinatal Services BC sits on the Board of Directors and is a Co-Chair of the Provincial/Territory BFI Implementation Standing Committee.

 
The Canadian Perinatal Programs Coalition (CPPC) is a partnership of perinatal/reproductive care programs and associations across Canada that is committed to fostering and supporting optimal care of childbearing families to facilitate the best possible outcomes for all mothers and babies. 

Perinatal Services BC is a member of the CPPC.
